The conference will be held at UBC—all sessions will be held in the Buchanan Penthouse. UBC is located at the westernmost part of Vancouver, about 30–40 minutes's drive away from city centre.

We encourage you, if interested, to arrange shared accommodation with other participants. The list of participants is or will be here. You can get in touch with others directly, or feel free to email us if you're looking for a volunteer to fill a slot.

Off-Campus Options

Vancouver's hotels on the whole are not very close to the conference venue at UBC, but transportation to and from some areas in town isn't too difficult by bus or taxi. You might try:

There are also lots of AirBnB options at a wide variety of locations and price points. Kitsilano or West Point Grey are the names of two of the neighbourhoods that would be relatively convenient. If you want to look further east, being close to the 99 bus route, which runs along Broadway, makes access to campus reasonably straightforward.
